Its regeneration abilities can be frustrating, so the trick here is to consistently damage it. In order to take the Bile Troll down, players will need to be patient. Players will see a yellow bar appear on the Bile Trolls health bar that must be reduced to ensure it does not gain health back. Also once its health is reduced to both 50% and 25% the creature will drop to all fours and begin regenerating health. If players do not damage it for a while, it will slowly gain health over time. Regeneration- Bile Trolls will regenerate their health in two different ways during combat. Additionally, anyone who stands a pool of bile will take damage, lose stamina, and have their movement impaired. Any players hit by a stream of bile will take damage and be blinded for a few seconds. With the other method, the creature spits bile on the ground at its feet. The first way it will fire a line of bile in a straight line at players. This attack can be blocked entirely.īile Spit- The troll is capable of spitting bile in two different ways. This can also be blocked to reduce damage.Īrm Sweep- Its right arm will swing at players in front of them and knock them away. Players can block this attack, but it will only reduce the damage slightly.Īxe Slam- The troll will slam his axe directly into the ground in front of him. Players who aren't fast enough will even see this creature regenerate its health.īile Trolls have four attacks and one ability:Īxe Sweep- The troll will swing his axe in front of him to cause massive damage to players. This creature is capable of large amounts of strength, is resistant to damage, and can even vomit bile onto its enemies to blind and damage them. The corrupted Bile Trolls stand about roughly ten feet tall and carry massive axes with them into battle. This will help players avoid their attacks and also stop it from blocking its weak point from damage. Try to keep the Stormfiend from moving around too often by strafing around it and shooting its back. Players should spend their time trying to hit this point as often as possible because it causes the most damage. The upside is that there is a small rat-like creature connected to its back that serves as its brain and weak point. The Stormfiend doesn't relentlessly pursue one player like the Rat Ogre, which makes it a little more difficult to handle. There will also be a burning trail of fire that harms anyone who steps through. Players who get hit by the blast will take damage over time. This will knock the player back and cause damage, but cannot be negated by blocking.įlamethrower- The creature can point either one of its flamethrowers at a player and shoot out Warpfire. Blocking will negate all damage from it, but players will still be knocked back.Ĭharge- The Stormfiend will growl and then charge at the player with its armored head. Sweep- This attack is the same as the one that the Rat Ogre uses. Players also won't be able to do much damage against a Stormfiends armor, but this version does have a decent weak point on the back. Luckily this means that players don't have to worry as much about the monster's melee abilities, but its flamethrowers can cause significant damage. Stormfiends are actually mechanically enhanced Rat Ogres that have been covered in armor and weaponized with Warpfire flamethrowers. Most attacks also have a short-range, so the targeted player should move away and attempt to use their ranged weapon. The targeted player should dodge all attacks instead of trying to block as most of its attacks will either harm the player or knock them backward. Those players can then attack the Ogre from behind with any weapons at their disposal.
This means that this player should try to lead the Rat Ogre away from his friends to ensure they aren't harmed. One of the most interesting aspects of the Rat Ogre is that it tends to only focus on one player. Anyone who is nearby will be knocked back. Leap- The monster will leap through the air and try to land on a player. Triple Hit- The Ogre will hit the players three times in a row. Players are incapable of blocking this attack.
Slam- Its fists will slam into the ground to cause massive damage to those in front of it. Players are able to avoid this damage by blocking but will lose all of their stamina in the process. Sweep- The creature can swing either of its arms in a wide arc to hit players and knock them back a long distance. The utmost caution should be used when engaging in combat against these monsters as they have high health and are resistant to damage. Rat Ogres are unnaturally large and strong and are easily capable of taking down players with just a few swings. The Rat Ogres are Frankenstein's Monster-esque creatures that have been stitched together from parts of other rats.
